Voluntary governance role, approximately 5 days per year for a term of 3 years initially. Ely Cathedral is seeking to appoint a new Chairperson for our Audit and Risk Committee, due to the retirement of the former Chair. The post is currently being filled on an interim basis.

The Chair leads our Audit and Risk Committee in their work covering the fields of finance, audit, risk and compliance in relation to the cathedral. The ideal candidate should hold an academic or professional qualification in accountancy, finance, risk or compliance. They should also have professional financial experience in the private, public or charitable sectors, and have experience of effectively chairing professional meetings at a senior level.
