We are launching a major diocesan initiative to invest in children and young people, supporting up to 22 parish‑based projects. To help ensure these roles and ministries thrive long‑term, we are seeking a Sustainability / Business Manager to work with parishes to build financial and people sustainability.
About The Role
- Support parishes to develop fundraising strategies and sustainability plans
- Identify and prepare grant funding applications
- Deliver training on fundraising and volunteer development
- Monitor funding progress across all project posts
- Share best practice and ensure compliance with fundraising and data regulations
- Work closely with diocesan teams, clergy, volunteers, and project staff
About You
- Proven experience in fundraising and successful grant applications
- Strong organisational, financial planning, and communication skills
- Experience working with volunteers or community groups
- Integrity, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships
- An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the Church of England context
- Flexibility to travel across the Diocese and work occasional evenings/weekends
