St. Mary’s Church is seeking a Spirit-filled, creative leader to pioneer and grow a vibrant children and families ministry in the stunning Lake District. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up as part of a dynamic new leadership team.
You’ll shape engaging Sunday and midweek programmes, support parents, and pioneer missional outreach like holiday clubs, family fun days, and after-school events. You’ll help children encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and feel fully part of church life—not just the church of tomorrow, but of today.
With a new Team Rector and fresh vision, we’re investing in a culture of worship, community, and mission. You’ll work alongside our Worship Leader, Operations Director, and Ambleside Parish Centre (home to food clubs, youth work, and more) to model the love of God to our town. Safeguarding and spiritual formation are at the heart of this role.
Full time hours per week. Salary £32,000 - £34,000 per annum + 8% pension. Closing date for applications 29th June 2025. Provisional interview date 18th July 2025.
