The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are three parishes: St John the Evangelist Church serves the town of Carterton with St Britius in the village of Brize Norton and St Mary the Virgin in the village of Black Bourton. An optional paid workday may be available under separate UK employment terms with St John's Church.

We offer a four bedroomed house located on Shilton Park in Carterton close to local facilities and all the attractions of the Cotswolds, Oxford and beyond. There are good schools, public transport and health services.

We are praying for a Team Vicar who will be:

  • A worship and pastoral leader across the three distinct but complementary parishes
  • Someone who is willing to spend time in both town and villages getting to know parishioners and who can lead us in making our churches vibrant places of worship, attractive to both existing and new members of the community
  • A spiritual teacher who can encourage an increased knowledge of the Bible and promote discipleship
  • A person who has a heart for outreach, to take full opportunity of the potential offered by the expansion of both Brize Norton and Carterton
