Bradford Cathedral seeks to appoint an accomplished singer as Section Lead & Lay Clerk (Alto) who, with fellow Lay Clerks, will form the core of the Cathedral choir and nurture the gift of singing in other members of the choir, offering vocal coaching and being a section lead.

As Section Lead & Lay Clerk (Alto) you will contribute to this vision, and to the flourishing of the Cathedral choir and its music making by:

  • Singing as the lead member of the section during the weekly pattern of sung services, additional liturgies throughout the church year and any other Cathedral choir events.
  • Supporting the voluntary and junior members of the Cathedral choir through mentoring and tuition.
  • Being a professional role model at all times.
