The Worship & Production Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the recruitment and growth of the Worship & Production Team, and creative development of musicians across the different locations at Gas Street Church, in coordination with the Lead Worship Pastor. The Worship & Production Coordinator is a proficient musician who plays regularly and creates new arrangements that would be used across different gatherings and events. This role involves a high level of organisation to rota & lead teams. This role would also be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of production; ensuring Sundays & mid-week events are well equipped across locations, and leading the production team.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Worship
- Develop the musicality of Worship, including coordinating evening rehearsals & ad-hoc music workshop days for team and worship school
- Regular feedback to musicians
- Create new musical arrangements that can be used for Sundays and other events
- Organising worship and production rotas for Sunday across all locations of Gas Street Church
- Loading in audio tracks for Sunday gatherings & events
- To attend & help facilitate the running of monthly team nights
- Play and lead worship regularly across different gatherings, locations & events
- Supporting the Lead Worship Pastor in envisioning the worship team and instilling Gas Street culture
- Contribute to the overall running of the worship team.
- Contribute to the oversight of the live stream of worship alongside the Lead Worship Pastor & Head of Communications
- Assist the Lead Worship Pastor in holding the Worship & Production Budget
- Overseeing the production and technical areas connected to worship
- Oversee the Production volunteers and rotas across locations; ensuring team members are kept in the loop
- Coordinate day-to-day production requirements across locations; including production rotas for Sundays, mid-week events & venue hire
- Build the volunteer Production team; recruiting, training and integrating new team members (liaising with Location Worship Pastors and the Production & Sound Consultant)
- Responsible for weekly maintenance & reset as required
- Coordinate production repairs and equipment purchasing
- Coordinate the preparation & running of production for weekly events & ministries
- Additional ad-hoc projects & support as agreed with the line manager & Exec Team.

- A heart and passion for the worship of Jesus Christ
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Proficient with Ableton
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Able to juggle a broad range of responsibilities
- Good time management skills with proven ability to prioritise workload
- Good interpersonal skills
- Highly Skilled Musician
- Be able to produce musical arrangements using different DAW systems
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Desirable: Proficiency in audio mixing
- Desirable: Proficient with Ableton
- Knowledge & experience of computer & IT skills, along with production hardware & software
- Highly adaptable and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to produce in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder be a practicing Christian.
Working requirements:
- Full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week)
- 25 days annual leave (pro rata)
- Statutory bank holidays
- Three additional days at Christmas
- Three retreat days across the year (one per term)
- Attend Gas Street Church
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Evening and weekend flexibility as required
