Children’s and Youth Co-ordinator – St. Martin in the Bull Ring

St. Martin in the Bull Ring are prayerfully looking to appoint a Children’s and Youth Co-ordinator to help us fulfill our vision to be ‘creative in welcoming families’.

Would like to join us at St. Martin in the Bull Ring as our new Children’s and Youth Co-ordinator?

  • St. Martin’s is looking for an exceptional and hardworking person who will:
  • work with, and grow, our volunteer team to provide a fruitful and cohesive lead to our varied mission and ministry with young people;
  • be pro-active in attracting and welcoming young people and their families to join our worshiping community, especially the increasing number living in our fast-changing city centre;
  • develop exciting and engaging activities for the many hundreds of young people and their families who visit St. Martin’s, especially during school holidays;
  • assist in inspiring and educating the many school pupils who visit during term times;
  • and potentially work with our sister charity, St. Martin’s Youth Centre, in reaching out to young people in the Highgate area.

  • This is a permanent, part-time role, subject to a 6 month probationary period.
  • Initially, the working week will be 25 hours including working on Sundays and Thursdays, and possibly some other hours during evenings and weekends.

It is possible for this role to develop into a 37.5 hour, full-time role.

  • The annual leave will be prorated from the full-time equivalent of 25 days and 8 Public Holidays.
  • The salary will be £26,000-£29,000pa pro rata depending on experience, plus an occupational pension scheme.
