Senior Platform Lifecycle Engineer at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA)
We are looking for a Digital Platform expert to play a vital role in transforming how we deliver critical services. As a Senior Platform Lifecycle Engineer, you will support the lifecycle management of essential digital platforms for healthcare operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across both on‑premise and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for assessment of existing platforms, participating in upgrade or replacement projects, and executing lifecycle management strategies in line with NHS standards and industry best practices.
Working across platforms, you will collaborate with IT and clinical teams to optimise platform delivery, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You’ll refresh, replace and de‑commission platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement best practices for security and compliance within the NHS framework.
You will provide technical support for platform issues, including troubleshooting performance problems, coordinating with vendors, and implementing solutions to minimise service disruptions.
Your contributions will enhance platform infrastructure, improving system performance, scalability, and reliability, ultimately supporting high‑quality healthcare delivery within the NCA.
