We are looking to hire a Porter to work full‑time 37.5 hours per week over a 24 hour, 7 day week within the Portering Service at Salford Care Organisation. Flexibility is required as you may be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Main duties of the job:
- You will be required to carry out the full range of portering duties, which may include driving vehicles on and off site;
- Transferring patients around the site by wheelchair, trolley or bed, including deceased patients and all associated mortuary duties;
- Transferring medical notes and supplies to various wards and departments;
- Working on waste duties with the waste team.
