An opportunity has arisen for the role of full-time Maintenance Assistant at our Nursing Centre. Maintenance Assistants are instrumental in the safe and smooth running of the Centre. What we want above all are genuinely kind, sympathetic people, who have previous experience of working in a trade. It would also be an advantage to have had experience of working in a care home.

We would be especially interested to receive applications from anyone skilled in a trade (e.g. Painting and Decorating / Carpentry / Plastering / plumbing / electrical, etc). As part of the Maintenance Team, your role will include a variety of tasks to help maintain the overall building and the equipment used to provide care for our residents. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills further with training and development courses that are designed to ensure that you feel confident in all aspects of your role.
