The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.
Fixed Term for 6 months with possible extension. Zero hours, sessional contract. Hourly rate £12.71. You will need to have access to transport.
Location: Based at The Children's Society Shop, Concord, Washington, Tyne & Wear, but to cover for sickness and holiday in other shops in the region which are clustered.

About the role
This role sits within our Retail Domain, which transforms donated goods into vital income to support young people across the UK. You’ll play a key part helping to cover some of our shops in the absence of the shop manager and lead a volunteer team to deliver excellent customer service, community engagement, and income generation. Days of work will vary dependent on business need and could be any day Monday to Saturday. We’re looking for a person with the ability to lead the shop in the absence of the shop manager and therefore have demonstrable previous experience. Lone working may be involved on occasion.
