Emotional Health & Wellbeing Service Manager – Gateshead TIME
Permanent position (provisional funding end date 31/3/2027). £35,100‑£38,390 per annum, 35‑hour week (part‑time considered). This role is part of Time for young people, an emotional wellbeing support service in Gateshead.
About the Role
Lead and coordinate the clinically informed youth work teams delivering emotional wellbeing & mental health (EWMH) service. Provide drop‑in sessions in the community where young people can meet trained staff one‑to‑one, and offer more structured one‑to‑one and group‑based sessions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate clinical teams and program delivery.
- Build relationships quickly, identify risks, and process further support.
- Develop and manage drop‑in and structured session schedules, including on‑call rotas.
- Compile and present reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure safeguarding standards and policy compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to act creatively and respond to new/challenging situations.
- Extensive leadership and management experience of diverse multidisciplinary teams.
- Initiative, supervision of other staff and coordination of work.
- Negotiation skills, competent use of IT programmes, able to utilise therapeutic models in practice.
- Experience with lone working and aptitude.
- Strong presentation & reporting skills.
