Substance Misuse Practitioner – MATERNITY COVER (North Essex) Fixed term contract – 1 March 2026 to 31 January 2027. 35 hours per week. Salary: £29,855 per annum. Base location: Colchester, Essex (travel within quadrant).
We are recruiting 2 practitioners for the All Age Recovery Co‑ordination Service in partnership with Open Road, supporting young people, adults, and families affected by substance misuse.
Responsibilities- Undertake individual assessments and risk assessments for young people up to age 25.
- Develop person‑centred care plans for each client.
- Support clients through their recovery journey using a range of tailored interventions.
- Deliver support both one‑to‑one and in targeted group work.
- Substantial experience working with vulnerable young people.
- Experience conducting individual and group work interventions with young people and adults.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant data systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
