Associate Director of Philanthropy (Principal Gifts)

Position Details:
- Type: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
- Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum / pro rata (plus allowances)
- Location: Remote
About The Children’s Society: We have been supporting children and young people in this country for over 130 years through local services and advocacy to improve laws and policies for children’s safety and happiness.
Role Overview: You will lead our principal gift fundraising activities within the Social Impact Group, playing a key role in our Major Appeal. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify and secure support from ultra/high-net-worth individuals, providing expertise in principal gift fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership of major gift fundraising activities
- Engaging with ultra/high-net-worth networks to secure significant support
- Collaborating with senior leadership and the Board to expand donor base
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in leading philanthropy activities with high-net-worth individuals
- Experience in securing major gifts (6/7+ figures) and managing donor databases
- Leadership experience working with professional fundraisers to achieve high performance
