If so, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Community & Events Fundraising Assistant to join our Community & Events Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while helping to enhance the world-class care provided at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of community and events fundraising activities by providing excellent donor care and high-quality administrative support.
- Be the first point of contact for a wide range of supporters, ensuring they receive guidance, materials, and encouragement.
- Manage event data and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Assist with event logistics, attend cheque presentations and assemblies on behalf of the charity, help coordinate volunteer activity, and represent the charity at community events, including occasional weekend or evening work.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing, well-organised, confident building relationships at all levels.
- Excellent administrative skills and a positive, solution-focused approach.
- Genuine passion for the mission.
- Experience in fundraising, events, the charity sector, or sales is desirable but not essential.
