Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to join our Finance team as Finance Assistant!

The Role:

As a Finance Assistant you will be the face of Finance for the organisation, a first point of call for our clients ensuring an unrivalled client experience. You will manage our AR and AP process, supporting colleagues with booking hotels and trains and other finance related admin tasks. You will support our Senior Financial Controller and Financial Controller with AP and AR, bank reconciliations and debtor and creditor management.

Please note this is a hybrid role where you will work from our Head Office in Slough for 2 to 3 days per week and the rest from home.

The role will involve:

• Supporting the following processes: sales ledger (monthly sales invoicing), purchase ledger (matching invoices, supplier management and query resolution) and credit control (chasing outstanding debt and reissuing invoices)

• Processing company bank/credit card reconciliations and arranging staff hotel/travel bookings

• Supporting with month end and year end process and financial audits

• General administration and ad hoc duties

• Hold an accounting qualification or are currently studying towards minimum Level 3 AAT or QBE (qualified by experience) 5 years ideally

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Experience of working with QuickBooks, Xero or Sage

• Microsoft Office user, with Excel skills

• Previous experience of working within a Finance department
