Our Charity Shop Retail Assistants are vital in the fundraising efforts for our Animal Centre. Our Charity Shop provides one of our most regular sources of income. You could gain lots of knowledge and experience that can help with your future career, whilst working with a friendly and dedicated team of other like-minded volunteers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers to the shop
- Operate the till and cash handling
- Accept donations of stock and sign up donors for Gift Aid
- Assist the Shop Manager in day-to-day tasks
- Help with customer enquiries
- Stock preparation including hanging and steaming
