Burnley Borough Council are planning to commence the procurement of waste and recycling collections and street cleansing service in early 2025. The current contract is due to end in March 2026, and the procurement will aim to achieve mobilisation and service commencement under a new contract from April 2026. The Council will advertise the opportunity at the appropriate time on the Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder services.

Primary Scope of Works:

• waste & recycling collections including food waste, chargeable garden waste, clinical waste, bulky waste, and commercial waste;
• street cleansing.
