What You’ll Do
Cheshire Day Nursery - Latchford is looking for a Nursery Apprentice who has a passion to work with children and would like to undertake a Level 3 qualification.
To be considered for the Early Years Apprentice role you must have a love of children and a genuine warmth towards them.
- Role Purpose: Be part of the team with responsibility for caring for children and maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment.
- Be warm and responsive, working flexibly and effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
- Promote positive relationships in the setting and the health, safety and well-being of the children.
- Support the children’s development, learning and play; support key persons in building relationships with a group of children and their families.
- Once confident, be responsible for a small cohort of children within the room with staff/management support.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of teamwork; act as a role model with high-quality practice in individual and group work with children.
- Take responsibility with the Nursery Management Team for the safety, security and well-being of all children, staff and visitors at all times.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed in line with Local Authority and Company procedures.
- Support the Nursery Management Team in helping the nursery reach an Outstanding Ofsted grade.
- Promote The Cheshire Day Nursery Group and understand your role within the team to provide high levels of care and education.
