About this Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic andhighly motivated Teacher of Psychology to join our successful sixth form andsecondary team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will teach Psychologyat Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging, high-quality lessonsthat inspire curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence. Whether youare an experienced teacher or an ambitious early career teacher with theappropriate subject knowledge, we would welcome your application.
Over recentyears we have been adding to our offer as a faculty, which now includesPsychology and Business at both A level and GCSE, Sociology A level, Level 3Applied Diploma in Criminology and Level 2 Health and Social Care. A TLR for responsibility of theSocial Science faculty is also available for the right candidate to expressinterest in.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Passionate about their subject(s); able toinspire students and help them to understand the real-world relevance of thesocial sciences.
- Committed to supporting students to achievetheir goals, particularly our growing and diverse sixth form.
- Willing to contribute to a small but growingteam with an increased range of subjects on offer.
- Interested in contributing to our keydevelopment goals: closing the gaps through high-quality literacy teaching,inclusive teaching practices and diversity throughout our curriculum.
