The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Analyzing tax compliance obligations for operations within the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Monitoring and interpreting tax regulations and providing guidance to the organization.
- Maintaining relationships and coordinating with local tax advisors in the region to ensure effective tax planning and compliance.
- Reviewing income tax provisions for the region as well as maintaining internal controls related to corporate tax processes.
- Working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient tax reporting and compliance.
- Managing tax audits for the EMEA region.
- Monitoring EMEA VAT compliance.
- Supporting Pillar II compliance and Country-by-Country reporting.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of tax policies and procedures, with a particular focus on technology solutions.
- Assisting with tax planning and other special projects, as necessary.
The following is for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy or taxation from an accredited University.
- Advanced/Fluent English.
- 5-7 years of experience in the tax department of a multinational company, or equivalent experience within a public accounting firm.
- Experience with tax compliance requirements across the EMEA region.
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, and/or OneSource.
- Experience leading a team in a global, hybrid work environment.
