Exciting Opportunity for a HCPC Registered Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child, Young Persons and Family team. Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Salary : £55,000 – £75,000 pro-rata (depending on experience) Hours : Part-time, 1-3 days per week Annual Leave : 27-32 days + bank holidays (pro-rated) Benefits : Health insurance, pension scheme, supervision, and CPD opportunities Contract : Permanent (subject to probationary period) Accountable To : Directors of Clinical Services & Head of Child & Family Pathway DBS Check : Enhanced Level of Disclosure Impactful Work with Young People : Work with children and young people from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through a range of mental health challenges in an environment that’s both nurturing and evidence-based. We prioritize your growth with monthly supervision , peer groups , quarterly team events , and continuous professional development opportunities to support your evolving career. You’ll work closely with a dedicated Assistant Psychologist and our billing team to ensure you can focus on what you do best—providing high-quality therapeutic interventions. Work-Life Balance : As you’ll be working with a younger population, this may involve late afternoon/evening or Saturday appointments, and we welcome your input on availability during the application process. As a Child and Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist , your role will be central to providing specialist psychological services to children and young people (CYP) at TCPC. Assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for CYP with a variety of mental health difficulties. Delivering individual therapy tailored to each young person’s unique needs, with flexibility and creativity. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams both within and outside of the clinic to provide holistic care. Managing a caseload that aligns with your availability, with the expectation of working at least one late afternoon/evening or weekend clinic per week. We’re seeking a psychologist with a strong background in working with children and young people (ages 5+), ideally in CAMHS or private mental health settings. Key qualities include: A passion for helping young people through creative and flexible therapeutic interventions.
