Exciting Opportunity for an Associate HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Saturdays & Evenings Only. We are looking for a compassionate, experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child & Family and/or Adult Pathway team on a part-time basis. If you’re passionate about making a real impact on adult mental health and enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.
Salary: Competitive hourly rates (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time Saturdays, 4 and 8-hour clinics available; Part-time - evenings 5-9pm or 6:30-9:30pm. Please note: availability is required on a regular weekly basis.
Annual Leave: As a self-employed clinician, there is no statutory holiday pay
Benefits: Supervision, CPD opportunities, supportive administrative team
Contract: Associate (self-employed)
Accountable To: Directors of Clinical Services
DBS Check: Enhanced Level of Disclosure (provided by the associate clinician)

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you’ll provide specialist psychological services to children, young people and families, and/or adult clients at TCPC. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based interventions for adults with mental health needs.
- Offering individual interventions tailored to the needs of each client.
- Working with clients from diverse backgrounds, presenting with a wide range of psychological challenges.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a psychologist with experience working with either children, young people and families, or adults (18+) in either NHS or private mental health settings. Ideal candidates will have:
- Expertise in managing complex presentations and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Training in therapeutic modalities such as Schema Therapy, DBT, EMDR, or Couples Therapy (desirable, not essential).
- The ability to adapt interventions creatively and flexibly to suit individual client needs.
- Availability to work on Saturdays (between 4 and 8 hours) on a regular weekly basis.
