Exciting Opportunity for a HCPC Registered Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Child, Young Persons and Family team. Job Title: Child & Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Salary : £55,000 – £75,000 pro-rata (depending on experience)
Hours : Part-time, 1-3 days per week
Annual Leave : 27-32 days + bank holidays (pro-rated)

Contract : Permanent (subject to probationary period)
Accountable To : Directors of Clinical Services & Head of Child & Family Pathway

Key Responsibilities
As a Child and Adolescent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist , your role will be central to providing specialist psychological services to children and young people (CYP) at TCPC. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for CYP with a variety of mental health difficulties.
- Delivering individual therapy tailored to each young person’s unique needs, with flexibility and creativity.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams both within and outside of the clinic to provide holistic care.
- Managing a caseload that aligns with your availability, with the expectation of working at least one late afternoon/evening or weekend clinic per week.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a psychologist with a strong background in working with children and young people (ages 5+), ideally in CAMHS or private mental health settings. Key qualities include:
- Experience with complex presentations and neurodevelopmental conditions .
- A passion for helping young people through creative and flexible therapeutic interventions.
- A commitment to working in a team environment, collaborating with other professionals to deliver the best care possible.
