As our clinic continues to evolve and grow, we are constantly seeking to recruit new clinicians to meet the increasing demand for our services and to support the diverse needs of our clients.

Exciting Opportunity for a HCPC Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist. We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Adult Pathway team.   • Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 pro-rata (depending on experience)
  • Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week
  • Annual Leave: 27-32 days + bank holidays (pro-rated)
  • Benefits: Health insurance, pension scheme, supervision, and CPD opportunities
  • Contract: Permanent (subject to probation)
  • Accountable To: Directors of Clinical Services
  • DBS Check: Enhanced Level of Disclosure

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you’ll provide specialist psychology services to clients at TCPC. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment, formulation, and delivery of evidence-based interventions for adults with mental health needs.
  • Offering individual interventions tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Working with clients from diverse backgrounds and addressing a broad spectrum of psychological challenges.
  • Working at least one evening clinic per week to accommodate clients' schedules.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a psychologist with experience working with adults (18+) in either NHS or private mental health settings. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Expertise in managing complex presentations and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Training in therapeutic modalities like Schema Therapy, DBT, EMDR, or Couples Therapy (desirable, but not essential).
  • The ability to adapt interventions creatively and flexibly to suit the unique needs of each client.
