Job Description

The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor who will be required to supervise the Bar and Restaurant Team, providing ongoing training with the support and guidance of the Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager.

As F&B Supervisor your key responsibilities include:

  • To assist and support the F&B Management in creating an environment, which promotes staff morale, encouraging the Team to show pride in the F&B outlets and to use their skills and attitude to provide highest standards of service thus ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • To consistently strive for innovation and creativity in product and service, that will increase volume and maximize sales and profitability and provide consistent quality service in the Bar and Restaurant.
  • To assist F&B Management to create and maintain a Guest History Database, including names, birthdays, preferred tables, usual drinks, contact details etc.
  • To deal effectively and in the spirit of Chelsea Harbour Hotel with any complaint and, if it cannot be dealt with, to report the complaint to the restaurant, whoever is in charge at the time.
  • To take responsibility to liaise with the Back of House Manager to ensure that once a month a full inventory is taken of chinaware, silverware and glassware for the Bar.

As F&B Supervisor the essential skills required are:

  • Effective communication within the department and ensure that the Department Manager is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen.
  • Fully conversant with COSHH regulations and Risk Assessments for the department.
