Role: Inclusion and Wellbeing Support Assistant

Contract: Permanent (39 weeks per year, term‑time plus inset days)

Hours: 35 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 – 3:30, Wednesday 8:30 – 4:00

Salary: Scale 5 points 10‑13 (FTE salary £27,694‑£29,064)

Closing Date: 29th May 2026 at 12:00pm Midday

Interview Date: 9th June 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Learning Support team
  • Provide direct support for pupils with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
  • Work with and help facilitate pupils’ successful inclusion in school life

Candidate Requirements:

  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Strong work ethic with flexibility to respond positively to day-to-day school challenges
  • Calm and motivated attitude with a clear understanding of the needs of all children, including those with additional needs
  • Good sense of humour and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake training and support individual needs
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative or similar role in a busy school office
