Join Our Team as an HR Assistant
Salary: £26,824 - £27,254 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Why This Role?
This isn’t just admin – it’s the beating heart of our HR function. You’ll play a key role in supporting staff across multiple schools, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment to exit.
- Manage HR records, contracts and compliance checks (DBS, right to work, references).
- Act as the first point of contact for staff HR queries.
- Maintain data accuracy across systems, including the Single Central Register.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, onboarding and probation tracking.
- Support appraisals, reporting and HR projects.
Requirements
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office essential.
- Experience in HR or administration (education sector a bonus).
- Team player who values confidentiality and professionalism.
