We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring and energetic person to join our Learning Support Faculty. The team are dedicated, positive and friendly. You should be approachable, patient and understanding to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum.
Many of our Learning Support Assistants have had the opportunity to progress into Teaching with our Teacher Training schemes.
Duties Involved:
- Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies and help keep pupils on task
- Interact with, and support pupils, according to individual needs and skills
- Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate

We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Excellent communication
- A positive 'can-do' attitude, inclusive values and a great sense of humour!

- Good organisational skills
- English and Mathematics (at least GCSE grade 4 or equivalent)
- Good general standard of education – GCSEs or equivalent and A Levels or equivalent.
