We are an outstanding inclusive school in south London seeking a Teacher of Geography for a September 2026 start. We are values led, putting students at the heart of everything we do. We believe it is important that all students are given the opportunity to succeed and reach their potential through focusing on their aspirations and capacity for excellence.

What skills and experience we're looking for:

  • To teach the subjects, classes and groups as allocated by the Subject Leader for Geography and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • To ensure that high quality teaching and learning takes place in all allocated classes.
  • To support and participate in the curriculum development work of the Geography Curriculum Area, including the writing of schemes of work and programmes of study.
  • To assist the Subject Leader for Geography in the maintenance of high standards of work and behaviour within Geography.
  • To be a Form Tutor or Sixth Form Tutor and to carry out the specified duties in accordance with the job description of a Form or Sixth Form Tutor.
  • To assist the Subject Leader for Geography in developing and implementing a programme of extra-curricular Geography activities outside of curriculum hours.
  • To support the Senior Leadership Team in the effective operation of the School.
  • To lead and support in the running of extra-curricular Geography.

Our School: The school is a genuinely inclusive mixed 11–18 comprehensive school adjacent to North Dulwich station and serving a diverse local inner-city community. We are proud to be recognised as one of the top schools in the country for our achievement. We were judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2022 again, and have been awarded “World Class School” status again in 2019. Our GCSE students perform exceptionally well across all EBACC subjects at GCSE. We are consistently in the top 10% of schools nationally for our A-Level performance.
