We seek to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Head of Design and Technology teacher. This is an opportunity for an inspiring teacher passionate about delivering excellent student educational experiences. As such, the Trust invites applications from candidates early in their careers or with more experience.

  • Provide extra-curricular activities that enrich pupils’ learning.
  • Challenge staff under-performance at all levels and ensure corrective action.

  • Support the pastoral care of students.
  • Maintain high professional standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance and conduct.
  • Uphold and enhance the school’s reputation by ensuring positive, courteous relations with students, parents, colleagues and other stakeholders.

The Charter School Bermondsey is an Ofsted “Good” (2022), four-form entry, mixed, 11-16 free school that opened in September 2013. The school is in a new state-of-the-art building, just a stone’s throw from Bermondsey Underground, and boasts fantastic spaces for staff and students, including a well-equipped art department.
