Fantastic opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Business Development Co-ordinator to join a busy team of this thriving US law firm with at least two years’ previous office experience working in a marketing team. This is a perfect position for someone looking to progress their background in a thriving environment and develop their marketing BD skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Putting together pitch documents and coordinating responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Researching, writing, editing and laying out a variety of other marketing materials, including directory submissions
- Managing website content such as bios, practice descriptions, and news items
- Internal and external HTML communications, including bulletins, newsletters, announcements, and invitations
- Managing the social media platforms, on occasion
- Advising partners on strategic decisions around business development initiatives
- Working with the marketing team and partners to develop effective communications practices and introduce best practices
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required with previous experience in a business development or marketing team
Qualities and skills required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills a prerequisite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Level of proficiency with Canva desirable but not essential
- Excellent editorial and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous law firm or other professional services firm experience preferred
- Confident, energetic and self-motivating
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to work under time pressure and juggle multiple tasks without dropping standards
