Our Client is one of the top 5 Accountancy firms in the UK. They are seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support the HR Services team with all onboarding. The role sits within a newly created Onboarding Team within the wider HR Shared Services function. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support on the new joiners process to the business ensuring that the process runs smoothly and efficiently, with a strong focus on a positive end to end candidate experience.
Core duties will include the following:
- Work closely with the Resourcing Team and HR Shared Services team to support the new joiner and onboarding process.
- Build positive relationships with candidates and key stakeholders.
- Ensure all offers and contracts of employment are issued within the agreed SLA using our HRIS Workday.
- Work closely with the Global Mobility team to support with the onboarding of overseas candidates.
- Ensure all relevant new joiners information is sent in a timely manner to candidates and People Managers.
- Carry out all pre-employment checks including right to work and references.
- Liaise with the business support team and other stakeholders with provisioning of IT equipment for new joiners.
- Ensure Workday and trackers updated with current and accurate data.
- Stakeholder engagement with colleagues across the firm.
- Become a subject matter expert in the onboarding process.
- Ensuring quality, effectiveness and continuous improvement of the HRS function.
- Support the wider HR Services team with various project opportunities.
Ideal Candidates must have the following:
- Experience or working in a similar role is essential ideally within a large professional services environment.
- A/AS level education or equivalent.
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced administrative role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise a heavy workload.
- High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer orientated, able to work within SLAs to ensure our service meets the demands of the business.
- Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A high level of personal commitment to task completion.
- Values diversity of colleagues and demonstrates capability to work alone and as part of a team.
