We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef ready for their next step. Sous Chefs are at the heart of our kitchens, with a true passionate focus on delivering exceptional dishes whilst guiding their brigade forward at Henry Holland.

- High standard of food knowledge and skill with an eagerness to deliver delicious food using only fresh ingredients at Henry Holland
- The experience to assist in managing and supervising the kitchen team
- An up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge
- A willingness to develop on a personal level in this quickly expanding collection of pubs.
Some of the things you will be doing as a Sous Chef:
- Produce high-quality dishes in line with the specifications at Henry Holland
- Supporting the Head Chef with recruitment and induction of new team members
- Ensure that the kitchen always operates effectively and efficiently
- Deputies in the absence of a Head Chef planning and directing food preparation where necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and take control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen team to ensure overall team performance is at its highest at all times
- Order supplies and stock inventory appropriately
- Overseeing deliveries
- Conduct kitchen audits in line with company expectations, always maintaining the operational standards
- Assist with stock-taking and periodic audits
