  • Experience
    • Significant experience preparing practicals across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
    • Managing/mentoring staff or leading a small team, including workload planning.
    • Implementing safety systems and maintaining technical documentation.
    • Procurement, stock control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
    • Excellent practical science skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong understanding of CLEAPSS guidance, COSHH, and safe handling/disposal protocols.
    • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines with calm professionalism.
    • Effective communicator who can influence, train, and support others.
    • IT-literate (e.g., MS 365/Teams, inventory and booking systems, data loggers).
