Our client is a global provider of reliable networking devices and accessories, experiencing an impressive 40% year-on-year growth. Their products play an integral role in everyday life, and they’re now looking for an Events and Digital Marketing Executive to join their Marketing team. This exciting role will see you take ownership of their busy events programme, including training events, industry exhibitions and webinars, while managing the associated digital marketing content.
As the Events and Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for leading the company's events, webinar and training programme, ensuring every event is delivered to the highest standard. Alongside this, you’ll manage the digital content that supports these activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and delivering the B2B and B2C events programme from initial planning through to on-site execution, post-event reconciliation and performance analysis.
- Managing event budgets, cost control and invoice reconciliation.
- Developing and maintaining detailed project timelines, task lists and event plans to ensure seamless delivery.
- Sourcing, negotiating with and managing suppliers, including venues, catering, production and logistics providers.
- Overseeing the development of event content to the highest standards, working closely with the wider marketing team and coordinating speaker logistics.
- Supporting the promotion of events through digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media and website content.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within events and will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a busy events schedule. You’ll be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and happy to take ownership of events from concept through to completion. This role would also suit someone who has been working in an events coordination or administration role and is now looking to step up into a position with greater responsibility. You should also be comfortable presenting when required, introducing training sessions and assisting with exhibition stand setup and event delivery.
Other requirements include:
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence managing multiple projects to tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp would be advantageous.
