We are collaborating with one of the IT Channel's leading service providers, partnered with multiple IT Resellers and IT MSPs across the UK. Due to growth, they require an experienced Channel Account Director who can come in and help manage and grow reseller and MSP partnerships for the business, someone with IT managed services experience, preferably with a networking technology sales background.
The role:
- Managing an existing portfolio of VARs and MSPs, playing a key role in nurturing and expanding these key relationships.
In summary you’ll be responsible for:
- Owning & growing strategic accounts: Build multi-year plans, expand annuity services, and deliver GM growth.
- Leading complex pursuits: Orchestrate deals end-to-end; shape solution strategy, commercials and governance.
- Forecasting & discipline: Maintain impeccable CRM, pipeline health, accurate forecasting and board-ready commentary.
- Driving pipeline reviews, action closure, and high-quality stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborating with sales, operations, technical and finance to ensure flawless execution.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced channel partner manager with a background in IT managed services and preferably within networking tech. The ideal candidates may have experience working for a channel provider, distributor, or vendor.
In addition, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Proven success in global channel IT services with a consistent track record of £50k+ GM.
- Managed Services/annuity growth expertise and strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Strong presence and ability to influence.
- Excellent account planning, forecasting, and deal governance; right-first-time quality.
- Proactive, creative, and constructively challenging.
- A team player who can collaborate across all departments.
