About the Role
The Channel Company is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our London office, responsible for leading and developing CRN’s event portfolio and audience growth across EMEA and APAC. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, this role will focus on strengthening CRN’s market position and driving commercial outcomes. Key objectives include increasing registrations for conferences and webinars, boosting awards entries, generating top‑of‑funnel sales leads, and growing and engaging our audience through newsletters and social channels. You will lead and develop a team of marketers, providing strategic direction and hands‑on support across events and product campaigns. This role requires a proactive, highly organised, and results‑driven individual who can manage multiple priorities and deliver against targets. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in marketing and events, with excellent attention to detail, written communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute regional marketing plans across EMEA and APAC for Channel events and media, aligned to global strategy
- Drive event registrations, webinar attendance, and awards entries through integrated, multi‑channel campaigns
- Generate high‑quality sponsorship and media leads, supporting the sales pipeline and commercial targets
- Partner closely with sales leadership to ensure clear alignment on targets, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy
- Lead the development of sales enablement assets, data‑led targeting strategies, and campaign support materials
- Own the delivery of marketing campaigns across email, social, web, paid media, and partnerships
- Lead the social media and video strategy, growing reach, engagement, and brand visibility
- Drive audience growth, increasing newsletter subscriptions and database expansion
- Develop and optimise content‑led acquisition funnels from media to events to community to subscriptions
- Manage and develop a distributed international team (UK, Germany, APAC), ensuring strong performance and collaboration
- Work closely with sales, editorial, events, and global marketing teams to align strategy and execution
- Monitor and optimise performance across campaigns, using data to improve conversion, engagement, and ROI
- Ensure all marketing activity is on‑brand, high quality, and delivered on time across regions
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years’ B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on events and/or media
- Proven track record of driving registrations, audience growth, and lead generation across integrated campaigns
- Experience working closely with sales teams to support pipeline
- People management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high‑performing team
- Confident running multi‑channel campaigns (email, social, paid, web, content) end‑to‑end
- Data‑driven mindset, with experience using performance metrics to optimise campaigns and improve ROI
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience in CRMs, analytical tools, marketing automation platforms and audience segmentation
- Ability to think strategically while delivering at pace and with strong attention to execution
