The Change Partners are currently working with a recognisable brand within the Energy space who are hiring for a Project Lead with routes to promotion within 12-18 months due to team growth.
The Project Lead will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of change projects that support long-term maintenance strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategies, identify and deliver major CAPEX projects.
- Ensure projects are on time and in budget.
- Assess and monitor contractor performance to ensure deliverables have been hit against targets.
- Support with any contract disputes.
- Management of contracts and support procurement.
- Regular project reporting and stakeholder presentations.
- Finalise and close major projects, and ensure they hit guidelines and deadlines.
- Take into account European procurement rules and how they apply to projects.
- Input documentation and process to ensure smooth delivery.
Background:
- Minimum 4 years experience managing major projects.
- Experience within Energy, Rail or related energy transmission.
- Knowledge of HVDC would be advantageous though not essential.
- Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification is ideal but not essential.
