We are seeking a Wallet eCommerce and Online Payment Integration Lead to join one of the worldβs leading technology businesses. This role will drive the integration of digital wallet across online merchants. The successful candidate will be required to create and deliver the eCommerce partnership pipeline and will navigate legal, technical, commercial, and marketing challenges. You will also provide guidance to BD & Partnership teams across Europe to unlock deals and pitch for new partnerships with major payment gateways and merchants. This is a broad end-to-end role with significant internal visibility and high progression potential.

Responsibilities will include:
- Develop pitch materials and manage the full sales cycle to promote digital wallet and payment solutions with online merchants
- Work closely with Payment Gateways or Payment Service Providers to identify key merchant partners and develop strategic plans to onboard them onto the digital wallet platform.
- Create a full BD programme in partnership with the chosen payment gateway/payment service provider and align on merchant targets.
- Partnerships strategy and partner development
- Negotiate new business agreements to secure wallet and payment partners to drive revenue and engagement.
- Internal stakeholder management
- Help prepare materials and enable teams to deliver value proposition, features, and market-specific considerations to win in chosen merchant verticals
- Provide guidance on prioritisation and pitch to merchants to actively manage European BD pipeline
- Identify new market opportunities and growth sectors within the digital wallet and payment programs.
Skills required for this role:
- Work experience within payment gateways and payment service providers
- The ability to negotiate and secure partnerships for digital wallet integration.
- Demonstrable experience in working with multiple partners through an end-to-end partner journey, starting with new partner acquisition all the way to long-term revenue growth
- Deep understanding of the online checkout landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities for enhancing payment methods.
- Experience with using payment service providers to optimise checkout processes and drive conversion rates.
- Strong grasp of payment industry standards
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies to increase adoption of digital wallet payments among online merchants
The role is a hybrid role allowing you to work three days in the office and two days from home.
