We’re looking for an experienced Trading and Category Manager to join a Tier 1 consumer electronics company. The Change Partners are working with a leading global consumer brand who are looking for a Trading and Category Manager to join the DTC division. We’re seeking an analytical individual with proven experience in trading/commercial roles, to deliver DTC sales growth through the .com website.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the sales plan for mid-tier and entry-level products through the .com website, including owning the pricing and promotional plan.
  • Manage and develop the sellout platforms (e.g. Trade In) and their contributions to sales.
  • Effective management of go-to-market for new products through the .com website.
  • Drive improvement in channel sales, traffic, conversion, average order value, forecasting, availability and aged stock.
  • Own the quarterly planning process, including briefing and delivering the plan through partners and holding them accountable to targets.
  • Identify commercial priorities within the category and implement trading governance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in an eCommerce Trading/Commercial role in a multichannel retailer, including proven experience with forecasting and promotional planning.
  • Someone with a strong understanding and delivery of key financial numbers.
  • Analytical, with the ability to digest complex data sets.
  • A self-starter with ambition to grow and develop in the role and team.
  • Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to achieve results through others.
