We are working with a recognisable DTC Travel brand who are building out their commercial, marketing and digital teams to support growth, hiring a EU Partnerships Manager. This is a senior role reporting in to the Partnerships Director, working across identifying, building and delivering commercial partnerships to enhance their customer's travel journey. Focused on building new partnerships within travel across Europe, ideally you will have relationships with French, Dutch, German and wider EU Tourist boards.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify and engage new partners that are in line with business objectives and service proposition across Europe.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing partners.
- Manage, support and deliver RFP/Tender processes.
- Pitch and present to new partners on the commercial and mutual benefit.
- Commercial negotiation and agreement delivery that add value and revenue opportunities for both parties.
- Delivering commercial propositions mutually beneficial for both parties that deliver strong revenue.
- Partner with Legal, Commercial and wider teams to deliver a mutually beneficial partnership model.
- Ongoing contract review and partnership management to ensure the business is delivering value across brand and revenue targets.
- Identify new opportunities for growth, through additional service offerings and revenue drivers.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure strong partner marketing strategies are executed effectively and deliver ROI and strong customer loyalty.
- Support any issues and conflicts ensuring the relationship is maintained and mitigate any potential future challenges.
- Data driven – Use data to drive market analysis and market-mapping, as well as using data to deliver strong ROI across existing partners.
- Stay abreast of any market trends and competitor activities.
- Work with Partnerships Director to strategise future plans for growth.
Your background:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within developing brand new Partnerships and managing existing partners, ideally within the travel space, though not essential.
- Experience working with a broad range of partners, ideally across Ancillary revenue: Travel, Tourist Boards, Duty Free, Food & Beverage, Retail or similar, and understand how they can be connected to maximise revenue.
- Commercial acumen with strong gravitas to present to new partners as well as the Senior Leadership team.
- End to end experience, working on the full partnership lifecycle from initial engagement through to commercial negotiation and delivery.
- A curious, tenacious and ‘go-getter’ mentality to think outside of the box with new ideas that will deliver new brand and service opportunities.
- Ability to spin multiple plates at any one time and confident speaking to partners across multiple sectors.
