We're looking for an experienced Trading and Category Manager to join a Tier 1 consumer electronics company. The Change Partners are working with a leading global consumer brand who are looking for a Trading and Category Manager to join the DTC division. We're seeking an analytical individual with proven experience in trading/commercial roles, to deliver DTC sales growth through the .com website.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the sales plan for midâtier and entryâlevel products through the .com website, including owning the pricing and promotional plan.
- Manage and develop the sellâout platforms (e.g. Trade In) and their contributions to sales.
- Effective management of goâtoâmarket for new products through the .com website.
- Drive improvement in channel sales, traffic, conversion, average order value, forecasting, availability and aged stock.
- Own the quarterly planning process, including briefing and delivering the plan through partners and holding them accountable to targets.
- Identify commercial priorities within the category and implement trading governance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in an eCommerce Trading/Commercial role in a multichannel retailer, including proven experience with forecasting and promotional planning.
- Someone with a strong understanding and delivery of key financial numbers.
- Analytical, with the ability to digest complex data sets.
- A selfâstarter with ambition to grow and develop in the role and team.
- Strong problemâsolving capability with the ability to achieve results through others.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office per week.
