The Change Partners are working with a UK & European travel brand who are looking for a Senior Commercial Propositions/Product Manager. The role will focus on delivering a pilot of a new proposition in line with an existing brand, travel experiences across areas such as hotel stays, spa breaks, wine trips and more within Northern Europe and the UK. We are looking for someone with immediate availability to complete an initial contract to business case, market map and test. Once sign off is achieved, this should move to an implementation and build role. This role can be part time or full time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and test 3-5 itineraries across France.
  • Develop an experience proposition for UK travellers to France and from France to the UK.
  • Partner with a variety of experiences, e.g. Golf, Wine Trips, Rural Stays, Food tours and broader bespoke tours.
  • Manage the budget for the pilot.
  • Conduct market research and package build.
  • Partner cross-functionally internally with commercial, finance, legal, insurance, hotel contracting, etc.
  • Contract negotiation with vendors.
  • Customer testing and feedback MVP launch and pilot execution.
  • Demonstrate proof of value and understand customer demand, package ideas, price points, feasibility, legal/financial nuances and the operational logistics and financials required to set this up.

Your background:

  • Developing propositions for travel, ideally experience-based products, including hotels.
  • Commercial and contract negotiation.
  • Partnership/vendor management.
  • Previously delivered strong business case with proven value add.
  • Strong understanding of how the operational aspects of an experienced product work.
