The Change Partners are working with a tier-1 global consumer brand that is looking for a Procurement Professional to join their European procurement function. This role will take ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities across a range of IT products, services and labour categories, supporting business-critical projects across the organisation.

Working closely with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Sales and international teams, you will manage supplier relationships, lead sourcing exercises and negotiate commercial agreements to ensure the business receives the best value while remaining compliant with procurement policies and processes. This is a 12-month contract role, with yearly extensions, offering a day rate of £300 via umbrella.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across assigned IT categories and projects.
  • Lead RFx processes from initiation through to supplier selection and contract award.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements to achieve the best possible value for the business.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance and ongoing contract compliance.
  • Monitor supplier spend and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and deliver sourcing support.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and global procurement guidelines.
  • Support supplier performance improvement initiatives across cost, quality and delivery metrics.
  • Assist with audit and compliance activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure timely completion of procurement processes.
  • Support wider procurement projects and ad hoc sourcing activities as required.
Your background:
  • Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain or vendor management.
  • Experience managing end-to-end sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple business functions.
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
  • Experience working with IT products, services or technology procurement is highly beneficial.
  • Strong Excel skills and general systems proficiency.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar is advantageous.
  • CIPS qualification (or working towards one) would be beneficial.
