The Change Partners are working with a Tier-1 global consumer electronics brand who are looking to hire a Junior Demand Planner to join their D2C Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain or analytics career to step into a role that blends forecasting, data analysis, and commercial collaboration.
You’ll play a key role in helping the business plan demand effectively, ensuring the right products are available at the right time across their direct-to-consumer channels. Working closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, you’ll turn data into insight, support forecasting accuracy, and help drive smarter inventory decisions.
This is a contract role, initially 12 months, with yearly extensions, offering a day rate of £136 via umbrella.
- Support the development and maintenance of demand forecasts using historical data and market inputs.
- Assist in the monthly demand planning cycle, including data preparation and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to validate assumptions and inputs.
- Monitor forecast performance, identify variances, and provide insight into key drivers.
- Highlight inventory risks such as stock shortages or overstock scenarios.
- Support forward-looking sales planning and short-term demand estimations.
Experience in a data, analytics, or supply chain-related role (or relevant internship experience).
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Maths, or a related field.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence working with data sets.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas); experience with planning tools.
