Join The Change, a growing sustainability consultancy, and play a crucial role in helping organisations reduce their carbon footprint. As Carbon Accountant, you'll track Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, support the integration of Scope 3 data, manage compliance with UK and EU standards, and lead third-party verification processes. You'll provide technical guidance and training, monitor policy changes, and contribute to clients’ carbon reduction planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
We're looking for someone with carbon accounting experience, excellent data analysis skills, and a passion for sustainability.
What You’ll Bring:- Proven experience in carbon accounting and emissions reporting.
- Knowledge of UK ETS, SECR, and EU regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and data management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to varied audiences.
- Experience providing training or support in carbon reporting (desirable).
