The Chancery Rosewood – opening Summer 2025, is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.
As a Tea Sommelier, you will bring a deep passion for tea and an expert understanding of its origins, flavors, and traditions. You will curate an exceptional tea experience, guiding guests through carefully selected blends and bespoke pairings. Your expertise and storytelling will elevate the art of tea service, making each moment a refined and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Curate and maintain an exquisite selection of teas, sourcing rare and high-quality blends.
- Provide expert recommendations and personalized tea pairings to enhance guest experiences.
- Lead tea tastings, educate guests, and train colleagues on tea varieties, brewing techniques, and traditions.
- Ensure the presentation, preparation, and service of tea meet Rosewood’s luxury standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to create unique tea-based experiences.
About You
- Certified Tea Sommelier or extensive knowledge of tea, its origins, and preparation techniques.
