THE TEAM At The Chancery Rosewood, our Events team brings extraordinary occasions to life through thoughtful planning, exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail. You'll work closely with the Director of Event Operations and collaborate with Events Operations, Culinary and the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure beverage service is seamlessly integrated into every event experience.
YOUR ROLE
As Event Operations Beverage Manager, you'll lead beverage service across all events at The Chancery Rosewood, ensuring exceptional standards of quality, presentation and guest experience in every bar and beverage interaction. Combining specialist beverage expertise with confident operational leadership, you'll lead and develop the event bar team while creating memorable, seamlessly executed experiences for our guests. HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE * Lead and develop the event bar team, creating a collaborative, motivated and highly skilled team that takes pride in delivering Rosewood standards. * Oversee the setup, execution and breakdown of event bar areas, ensuring every detail is ready for our guests and reflects the standards of The Chancery Rosewood. * Ensure exceptional standards of beverage quality, presentation and service across events, from intimate private dinners to large-scale corporate and social occasions. * Collaborate with Events, Culinary and Food & Beverage colleagues to curate bespoke beverage programmes, cocktail menus and drink pairings that complement each event. * Act as a guest-facing beverage expert, providing knowledgeable recommendation s and ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth and professionalis m of Rosewood. * Oversee beverage inventory, stock and consumption records while controlling costs, minimising waste and maintaining compliance with licensing, health and safety, and food hygiene requirements. COULD THIS BE YOU? * You bring specialist beverage knowledge and a passion for exceptional drinks service within events and hospitality. * You're a confident team leader who can develop, motivate and inspire bartenders to deliver consistently high standards. * You have the operational capability to manage multiple events, service formats and changing priorities with composure. * You combine strong guest service skills with the confidence to provide informed beverage recommendation s and respond effectively when service needs attention. * You collaborate naturally across Events, Culinary and Food & Beverage teams and can contribute creative ideas to bespoke beverage programmes. * You understand the importance of stock control, cost management, licensing, health and safety, and food hygiene within beverage operations.
