The Sales Manager manages the relationship, saturation, and penetration of a portfolio of accounts based on this critical market for The Chancery Rosewood. The role practices total account management, maintaining and growing current usage and increasing revenue for group, transient FIT, travel industry and all other revenue streams, as well as the F&B outlets. The role is an all-important first point of contact for hotel clients, and acts as an ambassador for the hotel and wider Company, with system-wide responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Pro-actively hunt for new business from within the local and APAC markets, as well developing and managing relationships with the existing account base.
- Reach and exceed room night and revenue targets as set by hotel and Sales & Marketing leadership, and participate to the success of the F&B outlets.
- Think creatively to develop and design new ideas, applications, relationships etc., in order to continue driving business, contributing to the strategy and planning activities of the sales function.
- Conduct continuous client entertainment, familiarisation trips and weekly client appointments.
- Work closely with the Events Sales Team, focusing on lead conversion and key opportunities.
- Provide regular input and update of The Chancery Rosewood Sales and Marketing Plan accurately interpreting the objectives of the business and proactively targeting future need periods.
- Communicate changes in market conditions in order to provide effective and timely solutions to minimise any detrimental effects to the business.
- Develop SMART key account plans and strategies, detailing objectives, timescales and sales methods to support the defined account opportunity.
- Accurately identify the level of influence and decision-making power of contacts in the customer organisation and use these to secure business.
- Contribute to relevant management meetings, to develop and implement local marketing initiatives.
- Establish, enhance and maintain productive quality working relationships with key internal and external customers.
- Generate and provide timely and accurate results in the form of reports, presentations etc.
An adept seller of hotel or hospitality event spaces, ideally with five star and/or pre-opening experience. An experienced networker with awareness of, and strong relationship with key travel professionals in the relevant markets. A strong organiser who can set goals and time and resources effectively. A true people person, with strong rapport-building and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate others and work with other hotel stakeholders diplomatically and effectively. Are passionate about luxury hospitality and F&B.
